SYNLEX™
speciality materialsOVERVIEW
The synthetic latex specialty material
Synthetic latex offers an alternative to natural latex, with numerous varieties available. These polymers were developed to provide performance characteristics not achieved with natural latex. Synthetic latex can be produced on a large scale, with advancements continually being made in process efficiency and technology.
SYNLEX™ are synthetic latex compounds produced to achieve specific high-performance properties. Some of the primary synthetic polymers used include polychloroprene, nitrile, acrylic, SBR, and polyvinyl acetate.
How does it work?
SYNLEX™ is formulated from various polymers that are man-made. They are typically developed to meet unique properties not achieved with natural latex.
Properties include resistance to oil and chemicals, UV, heat, and abrasion. The end result is SYNLEX™.
